Looking for a Field Sales role with BT Local Business? - Competitive salaries plus commissions. Uncapped earnings, realistic OTE in first year 35 - 40K.

BT Local Business is an independent sales channel representing BT in the Small Medium Enterprise (SME) marketplace. A new role is being created to join a well established and successful sales team.


The primary aim is to sell BTs entire portfolio of Voice and Data Solutions to the existing business customer base.The candidate will be required to visit new sales prospects.The candidate will be responsive to leads created by BT and our Desk Sales Team and create their own opportunities to ensure that their sales diary is full.The post holder will understand the regulatory, fair trading and competition rules relating to their role.

Principle Job Responsibilities:

To visit customers and sell solutions from the entire portfolio of BTs product range that fit the customers requirements

To meet the agreed sales and productivity targets

To respond to leads created by the Desk Team and other BT departments

To Account Manager and proactively contact installed customer base

To become an internal Sales Specialist supporting the rest of the Desk Sales Team

To work closely with the BT Specialist teams

To use the CRM Salesforce system effectively and ensure all relevant customer information is entered onto the system accurately.

To be aware of and work to achieving Talk 4 Business Ltd Customer Satisfaction targets

To interface with BT Back Office departments to ensure orders processed correctly and customer issues are resolved satisfactorily.

Experience / Skills Required:

Essential Experience / Skills: A proven track record in the Telecommunications / IT industry.Previous sales experience with Telephone Systems, Voice, Mobile and Data solutions.

Desirable Experience / Skills:A working knowledge of BT Retail.Sales experience of Avaya / Lake / Mitel portfolio.
