A great opportunity to join Manchester's leading display company, Unibox as a purchasing/ production coordinator.

The role will support the senior purchasing coordinator and has excellent prospects for career progression.

The company is based in fantastic new premises in Middleton, Manchester and has just entered its 22nd year. It employs over 50 staff at this, its head office premises and offers great staff facilities and fringe benefits.

The successful candidate will have experience of procurement, materials management, sales and production order processing and have worked in a manufacturing environment ideally for a minimum of 3 years - preferably in metal, plastics or joinery industries.

Duties will include:

Sourcing and Ordering materials from BoMs Stock control Reading drawings Raising sales and purchase orders Organising logistics Liaison with design, sales and manufacturing personnel.Filing sales and production paperwork.Employer funded extra curricular study if required. (That means night school!) Developing supplier and client relationships.

Essential

Excellent skills in ms office and sage software.Excellent planning and organisational skills.Reliable, hardworking with a straight talking no fuss attitude Experience in sage sop/pop Strong commercial skills.

Salary

18- 23 k pa dependent on experience and ability plus Bonus scheme, Healthcare and Pension scheme.
