Their insurance comparison site is very user friendly and they offer unique savings and services to their customers.

We are seeking a highly talented Senior Digital Designer to lead the creative team . This is a great opportunity to join our small and busy in-house team to create for and manage the brand across platforms and devices. .

You will have a broad professional portfolio mainly focussed on digital and online. You will be able to take design briefs and develop creative solutions. You will have experience working creatively within strict brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

Apply your skills to develop layouts, visual treatments and creative assets for the website, campaign sites, display advertising and email, web and mobile apps.Work with our developers and product owners to translate creative /designs for delivery. Manage and review the creative output delivered by external agenciesProject management duties as required to run the design team and enable rollout of creative campaignsDevelop the Design teams processes and cultureManage the design team workload and mentor junior members of the team.

Essential Skills

Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash

Excellent knowledge of brand identity systems, typography, illustration, colour and iconography to develop layouts, visual treatments and user-focused design

Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, email and smartphone design (HTML 5 experience an advantage)

Digitally focused but with good knowledge of print processes

Strong typography skills

Excellent attention to detail
